Born in Boston and raised in Seattle, May was immersed into the styles and culture of the urban art scene early on in age. She began to take dancing seriously at the late age of 21 while studying for her degree in art and minor in architecture at the University of Washington. Seeing a need in her community, she became passionate about using the arts with a purpose in performances, ministries and productions, to make a positive impact with commitment to empower youth.

May is a freelance designer who has also worked for Wing Luke Asian Museum, Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center and Domestic Abuse Women’s Network over the last 3 years. As the Managing Director for The Good Foot, May commits her time to help raise this new organization from the ground up, working with her staff ‘family’.
